New character and some changes for my kids!
Allie Pressman

cassandras_sister | The Society | 17 years old | Junior
Meet Allie! She comes to you from New (nee West) Ham, CT in 2019. She was a normal high schooler with a popular, successful older sister named Cassandra whose shadow she lived in, and she was kind of at peace with it. She just wanted to be supportive, crush on her best friend Will, make terrible decisions, the usual teenage stuff.
Then the students were bussed out to a school field trip, only to be told during the night that they had to turn back. When they arrived back at the town, they were the only people left in it, and they were completely walled off from leaving. No parents, no teachers, no 911, no TV, no outside phone service, no outside world at all. At first it seems like a kid's dream, but then they have to actually figure out how to live, which causes just so many problems. Cassandra takes over as leader of the town, which makes her a lot of enemies, and when she's murdered, it leaves a power vacuum.
So Allie steps up.
It's a suck-ass job! She has a small council of friends she can trust, but everyone else pretty much hates her for making sure that like, garbage gets cleaned up and everyone gets food because they have to be the ones to do it. They have common, everyday problems, like "what to do about this teen pregnancy when there are no doctors?" or "All the girls feel like the boys might hurt us, what should we do?" or "Do we give the death penalty to the guy who murdered my sister?" and Are we in a parallel universe and if so, how do we get back home?" Allie is kind of a hardass because she has to be, and it looks bad. She has a Guard to enforce her rules, has no problem making an example of people, and she makes some seriously dubious decisions, but feels like she's doing the right thing for all the people, even the ones who hate her guts. However she also seems to be the only one that realizes that like, there's a lot of stupid little details in keeping a town running the way you're used to and sometimes that means doing hard work, and making tough calls will not make you friends. When she organizes elections and announces her own candidacy for mayor, she and her best friend get arrested as part of a coup, at which point the season ends, and the greenlit second season never happened because Netflix Covid canceled the show. Do they get back? Are they actually in a parallel universe? Who knows!
At least for Allie, she ends up in Fandom.
-17 years old, 5'5", with blue eyes and long, curly blonde hair.
-Totally normal girl. No powers, no special training.
-She's however the type who'll take charge in a crisis and do what she thinks needs to be done. Like there's a good chance in a BDE she'd just find a weapon and go "FINE, I guess" about it without actually questioning whether she'd actually be the best person for it.
-Did actually like the power she had, though. And really, everyone was like "we shouldn't have to do that!" but they also didn't have any of their own plans.
-Got way more serious as a consequence of having to be in charge, and enforce rules, execute a murderer, and live with some paranoia that someone might try to kill her.
-Will have been living without family for about six months by this point. That also means she's got like six months of trauma she's coming off of, but she'll at least attempt to be like a normal kid. We'll see how it goes.

-An orphan abandoned on a desert world when she was five, and raised herself, living as a scavenger.
-Then found out she's Force sensitive, accidentally bonded with the movie villain that she really wishes would switch sides, and joined up with the Resistance to take down the bad guys.
-Which means she's telekinetic, empathic, has enhanced reflexes, gets visions and bad feelings, and is generally pretty badass.
-Is juuuuust about to go through The Rise of Skywalker, and then I beg for new canon already. GIVE ME SOMETHING, OSCAR ISAAC DIDN'T SAY THAT FOR NO REASON.
-Also I just got tie-in canon and backstory! Timing!
-Now a couple years into Jedi training with
sith_happened. I love it so much.
-Really open about her powers and quite a few of her traumas. She's always wearing her lightsaber around town and you can always watch her show off in the warehouse with the lightsaber burn in the door on Fridays. The obstacle course keeps getting more insane.
Kitty Pryde-Barton

throughaphase | X-Men | 28 years old | Townie
-Mutant who can phase through solid matter. Her natural state is intangible and she stays solid through sheer force of will. She's open about it, and only uses things like doors to be polite sometimes. When she remembers. There's a good chance she just walks through a wall in front of you because she's not thinking about it.
-Is also pretty open about being a superhero, though she's currently not doing it regularly right now.
-Probably knows/knows of at least some version of your Marvel character, even if mutants aren't in the MCU yet.
-Somewhere in canon right now. Post-AvX, pre- me doing anything else.
-Teacher during the school year. She takes summers off.
-Runs Caritas the whole year round. Her shift is Tuesday. If you need a shift, I'm who you hit up.
-Married to
so_hawkward and their daughter Lexi is three!
-Easy to get along with, and also a little freaked out at just how used to the weirdness of the island she is.
Jaina Solo Fel

solo_sword | Star Wars Legends | 42 years old | Alumni/Reluctant Teacher
-From Star Wars. No, not that one. Yeah, the de-canonized one.
-Post-Legends canon, in the wilds of me writing brand new stuff for her.
-5'1", tiny badass, usually has a lightsaber visible on her belt. If it's not there, it's probably in her purse.
-Graduated from Fandom High, now living full time in the ol' GFFA.
-Except that I missed her and now the moose keeps signing her up to teach classes. She doesn't live on island, just commutes back and forth.
-Jedi Master. Super earned it. Not giving up the title even though she's not on the Council anymore.
-Married Jagged Fel, an Imperial who became Emperor for the greater good even though they both really hated the whole thing. So she's an Empress now, and mostly refuses to do any actual Empressing because do you know who her family is.
-Left the Jedi and she and her Tahiri have begun the Imperial Knights. Yes, she knows how this all looks.
-Is mom to five-year-old twins Dax and Daniel.
-Granddaughter to
sith_happened, cousin to
momslilassassin, niece to
tatooine_doofus, great-grandmother to
notconflicted, non-blood family to
weetuskenraider and she better like that. Doesn't share timelines with any of them.
Jaye Tyler

fates_jaye | Wonderfalls | 24 years old | Townie
-Started at Fandom High in 2005. Is now 24. It works if you're her.
-Going through an extremely slow canon catchup. Extremely.
-There also might be a guy involved there. Again, extremely slow catchup.
-Works at Caritas on Saturdays when I remember to post.
-Inanimate objects called muses talk to her and tell her to do things. If she doesn't listen, bad things happen. If you want some interference or help in making your character do things, hit me up, as long as it ends in something good happening.
-You cannot hear the muses.
-A couple people have found out about it in her time on island, but it's not common knowledge. You may see her talking to her purse or random animal objects and react to that, though.
-Otherwise a slacker from upstate New York who works retail and lives in a trailer because she likes disappointing her family, though she's beginning to not like being a disappointment.
Harry Potter

imawizard | Harry Potter | 18 years old | Senior
-Orphan who learned at the age of eleven that he was a wizard, and who went off to a wizard school called Hogwarts with all his new witch and wizards friends. (Mostly Ron and Hermione, what up.)
-When he was a baby he survived an attack by a Dark Wizard named Voldemort who got vanquished by trying to use a killing curse on him, killed Harry's parents and left him to be raised by abusive relatives, and left Harry with a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead.
-A celebrity in the wizarding world. It has its good parts and bad.
-Went through the end of canon over the summer, so four months were over a year for him. So no more Voldemort.
-Is, again, a wizard, who will always have his wand on him. He can do pretty much anything from repairing items to making potions to casting hexes and jinxes.
-Is kind of the golden boy, who breaks a lot of rules for the right reasons and doesn't get in nearly as much trouble as anyone else would for it. He always means well, though.

-Very pre-canon.
-Spoiled rich princess whose family isn't keeping tabs on her so she does whatever, which means she bounces from place to place having adventures that end in way more kidnappings than you'd think.
-Her dad's a video store mogul and her mom's a soap opera actress and she's a celebutante in the vein of 2000s era Paris Hilton so a lot of these adventures involve famous people.
-Her parents think she's been in Switzerland this whole time. Like, since she first got here and got kidnapped by a goat man.
-If you haven't seen her around, she'd probably bopped over to another country for a bit.
-Talks with a very affected vocal fry and lilts at the end of sentences, and has very pronounced facial expressions and mannerisms that I try very hard to get across and usually fail at.
-Will date all the boys, NPCs and PW guests. But only for a month, max. HMU.
Natalie

-On CST but my heart's in LA.
-Work might allow me all the time in the world to ping or it might get super busy and I disappear unexpectedly. This means I try not to ping into a lot of threads during the day in case things go haywire but if you ping me I will get back to you!
-The last three years have been incredibly sucky even without the plague so now that I have the means and can't afford to buy another house after the last one tried to bankrupt me I've kinda said screw it and I'm traveling.
